Plasterboard Delivered!

Only a small update today as the work on the site has slowed a little. The insulation work seems to have stopped at the walls, so the inside roof still needs to be done.

The Plasterboard has been delivered, I pray for no Wild weather because its sitting in the garage but over-hanging to the outside. It has a little bit of plastic over it, so hopefully that's enough to keep it fairly dry.

Spotted some small issue's that still need to be resolved, so not every day can be a Great day.
Got to keep them on their toes and make sure everything gets fixed, and fixed in a timely manner.

99% of the Roof insulation was done well, but there is always the 1 or 2 spots that need fixing.

As for the wrap around the house, this seemed rushed in some areas, and needs to be sealed correctly, I did notice one of the guys doing this really didn't seem like he wanted to be there.
For me id'e expect this part of the build to be done 150% correct, considering the brickwork is VERY delayed, and the internals have started.

The wall insulation guys didn't read the plan's correctly, and have left this shower recess uninsulated, it actually needs to be insulated as we don't have a recess going in this spot.

One of the Rear sliding doors does not seal properly at all, it doesn't sit flush with the wall, this clearly needs to be re-fit to sit square so that it seals and locks. Notice the gap down the bottom section

There were a few more issues that were pointed out during my pre-lining inspection.

  • TV and Internet cabling (DONE)
  • Cavity doors to media too big on 1 side (DONE)
  • Framework needing support bracket for downlight (DONE)
  • Framework in Media needing support (DONE)
So only a few outstanding issues needing attention.
